Jeremy Lin has officially surpassed Tim Tebow as the biggest sports underdog story of the decade as the Asian American basketball player continues to carry the previously struggling New York Knicks to new depths. It’s not as if Jeremy Lin is being helped by a great defense or pure dumb luck – in fact, he’s helped the lowly Knicks get to a six game winning streak based purely on his own merits with the likes of Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony mostly out during this stretch.

Lin added to his legend on Tuesday when he hit a game winning three pointer with a fraction of second to go. It was a remarkable comeback fueled by the Harvard educated Jeremy Lin’ pure determination to get his team the W.
Objectively looking, Jeremy Lin HAS to be considered for the player of the month award the way he’s been racking in wins for an undermanned club, backed with great stats too. Lin actually outplayed Kobe Bryant in the Black Mamba’s annual visit to MSG, and no one in their right mind will doubt Lin from this point forward.
Sure Lin does have weaknesses in his game, and has been prone to committing turnovers. Having said that, his basketball IQ and overall solid frame as a basketball player will go a long way in making him a decent first or second string point guard in the NBA. The current winning streak stands at 6, and at point the whole world is tuning in to see how far the Linsanity can continue. Now what I wonder is how many more to go until conspiracies of some sort of Harvard ‘intervention’ starts to creep into talks.
