Their bench production has been immaculate in recent games, with the defensive intensity creating a suffocating atomsphere for teams on offense. Rajon Rondo is set to resume but Ray Allen is expected to sit another game out following an injury he picked up playing against the Wizards.
Ryan Anderson will be a man to watch for the Magic, as the NBA’s leading 3 point scorer was shutout the last time he faced off against the Celtics. Brandon Bass will make his first return to Orlando following his offseason trade for Big Baby Davis. There is no question that Bass has thoroughly outplayed Davis thus far in the season.
For the Celtics this game presents an opportunity to put an official stamp that they’re still a team to be reckoned with in the East, while the Magic will look to wipe their slate clean after suffering their most humiliating loss of the season to the Celtics earlier in the week.
