Today’s second FA Cup fifth round match pits Manchester City v Aston Villa. Two of the top clubs in the Premier League will fancy their chances at heading to Wembley this year and add some prestigious silverware to their collection.

Despited United’s slip up last night, it’s hard to envision City come back from the current hole they find themselves in and claim the Premiership title. Hence their trophy hopes for the 2010-2011 campaign rest on tonight’s game against Aston Villa. The Sky Blues have invested deeply in talent over the past several years and Robert Mancini is surely feeling the pressure of delivering silverware.
Aston Villa only managed to recover recently with the arrival of Gerard Houlier and success in the FA Cup would erase all frustrations suffered by the club supporters throughout the season.
